I’m a massive fan of Madra and since buying the hands free lead and the city harness, my walks with my dachshund have been made so much easier. Not only is it super to have both hands free while walking for poop scooping, phone scrolling or coffee drinking but I feel the lead actually puts the owner in better control than a standard hand held lead. It also means when my dog bolts to chase a bird, I’m not having my arm pulled off. It feels far more secure knowing he’s attached to my body and makes it far easier to pick him up if I need to. I use the lead both hands free and it’s also great to use it normally too. The extra length has also been ideal to start his loose leash walking and giving him more freedom when walking on greenways or areas he wants to sniff at. The lead design feels so secure and the hardware is so strong, i love the lock feature too for that extra bit of security. The colours are fab and I can confirm after washing it multiple times, it hasn’t dulled or gotten roughed up in the slightest. Usually hardware can get scuffed but with this it’s like brand new after the washes with no damage at all. I also use the city harness and a dog trainer commented recently to me when out walking that the design is ideal to stop dogs “bungeeing” as there’s two clasps to attach the lead to the harness, whereas most harnesses only use the neck clasp which can cause a dog to bungee from the owner - which is something to be aware of for dogs with back troubles like dachshunds. Overall I can’t recommend Madra City Leash enough, the hands free is a dream and I feel way more comfortable walking my dog with it knowing he’s literally attached to me.

I bought our dog Sam a collar and lead from Madra and we absolutely love it. The hardware is so secure and strong compared to other collars and leads we've used with all our dogs in the past. I love that its Irish made with sustainable materials. Our morning routine to go get coffee is made so much easier with the city lead, its so convenient to be able to walk hands free! 100% recommend!

I bought the matching lead for George’s new harness and it is the best quality lead I have come across. It is very comfortable to hold and extremely secure with added locking feature. George is super proud to be sporting the Madra logo. I would not hesitate to recommend Madra for it’s excellent design and unreal quality 💚
I have been looking a really good quality harness since I got George in 2024 and spent so much money buying different ones. I came across Madra on Instagram and thought about buying one if only to add to the collection and I am so glad I did. The quality is unreal, very secure and it’s still lightweight and breathable for him. Very easy to put on and he’s happy out on his walks. Will definitely recommend to others and this won’t be my last purchase from Madra!! Top quality products and very fast delivery too 💚

I really wanted to like this harness because it looks great, but unfortunately, it hasn't worked out. Poor Durability: After only a week or two of use, the material is already fraying where two sections meet due to friction. It clearly won't last long. Uncomfortable Fit: The design doesn't suit my Whippet's build. No matter how I adjust the straps, it's either too loose or, when tightened, a plastic buckle sits right behind his front leg joint and rubs uncomfortably against him. It’s a stylish harness, but the poor durability and awkward fit mean I can’t recommend it.

Really good quality. Lovely details on the metal (stamped 'Madra' and logo in parts). I have arthritis in my hands and would 100% recommend this. Looks great too. Love that it is Irish made and ethically produced.

Really like the hands free traffic grip leash. Very strong and well made. I have a new rescue dog who loves to pull so this is helping. Carl was so accommodating when I was buying it too, great customer service. Will defo be getting more stuff in the future.

Absolutely has taken a lot of stress out of my dog walks! I have a strong jack Russell puller and a chill Chihuahua. Got the hands free city leash for the JRT. First couple of walks, I would say we had about 75% calming on his pulling! A much easier walk all round. I can only see it getting better too! Definitely recommend

Great quality lead and collar
Really needed a better lead when walking the dog (a very busy border collie) with the buggy! Treated myself to the Madra World city lead and it has helped so much! Nice and secure, love the colour, really like the grip and being able to push the buggy with both hands has been amazing!

Wow these are just so great! Went from the smaller size when I got her and now upgraded to a size small which will realistically last her forever, these harness are so strong that’s why I went for it. Going to order the matching Lead today also can’t wait!

My maneen loves the harness comfort by comparison to his last one. It’s great quality and despite there being a bit of weight to it, it fits his form well and doesn’t bother him or pinch him when he runs mad. It has two hoops to hook your lead onto which is convenient. I met another dog in the park with the same harness and he had his poo bags hooked onto one and the lead on the other. One thing that would make it perfect is if I didn’t have to put the dogs head through the loop around his neck - his last one tied on and was more convenient but this is much better quality so I’ll take it!
